Audi S4 or BMW M340i? Looking to buy used.

Old thread but I have a 19 SQ5 which shares the same engine as the S4 and it’s such a good engine. The S4 is super quick right out of the box. I ended up buying a CPO off lease because a brand new one is $70k and I definitely didn’t want to spend that.

Lol thanks. J1 ain’t playing with the B9 engine - it’s no joke. Almost no turbo lag in gears 1-3, the downshifts are really rough in dynamic though

Drove an M340 and 🥴 Would recommend

Haven’t driven the m340 yet but I didn’t see the s4 as anything that special. I can’t afford either anyway...

Really? I think it looks awesome. Definitely a sleeper. The M340 has about 10% more HP though... but both turbocharged V6s. I’m torn.

Just lease a new one

Lease.. as others have stated the maintanence on German luxury is not practical.

S4 is gorgeous

Nice choice! This is my first Audi and I still love this thing 8 months later.

Post Photo

I’m not a big Audi fan, but the nardo gray looks gorgeous. And loving the front horizontal lines

I had been doing really well for the last 2-3 months, was feeling great and lost about 20lbs. Glassdoor shows a wide range from 95k-125k. My target is 110k-120k. Is this a stretch?

Seems to me that people in the 90s were much more entrepreneurial than people today? The thought of leaving a comfortable salaried position to try and start a new venture is daunting.

Good luck to those who are going into their first busy season! Yes, it’s daunting at first - we’ve all been there (albeit, not in a remote environment amidst a pandemic.) My best advice is to take one day at a time (marathon, not a sprint). Remember audit/tax/consulting is not life or death, and you WILL make it through. Have patience with yourself and your teams. Find a mentor! Don’t forget you can always find some moral support (read: self-deprecating humor) in your fellow fish!

to 🐠 with severe anxiety/prone to panic attacks: i need guidance on how to help my loved ones manage through their anxiety. their anxiety is usually triggered by health related situations so COVID-19 has been especially difficult for them. scenarios of them getting triggered include when they’re running, they sometimes get bouts of coughs so then they panic, thinking they can’t breathe. or they accidentally touch harsh chemicals and think they injected toxins. how can i help and be supportive?

Finally found my exit to Google. Taking a step back in terms of responsibilities but going from 98K TC > 193K TC. Couldn’t be happier but hope I don’t get bored too quickly.

I refuse to get my CISSP. I don't believe it's a valid certification to show competency in cyber security.
