Lease the Maserati or lease an Alfa Romeo
I have historically stated away from leases but I see the value in that recommendation for this situation. Just wondering which option which will be less painful and less expensive
You may need to budget around $1,500 a year for oil changes. Plan on new tires every 18 months also at $2k a set for Michelin Pilot Super Sports. A 6-8 year old Ghibli will be low twenties to high teens in a few years (when it is 6-8 years old).
For that budget look at a 2 year old 540xi (turbo charged 6 with AWD) or an Audi A6. You can also add a tune or dinan components (for the BMW) to up the performance and save on maintenance and tires. Plus, the resale will be slightly higher. You can also look for an older Panamera (and Porsche’s are incredibly reliable).
A high end performance vehicle is going to have a high end performance budget. Some of the older German cars still require maintenance (and I’ve own(ed) a few) as well, but I do something’s myself and buy the parts online.
For the A6, add a stage 1 APR tune and you have a car producing more HP than an S6. All of these car manufacturers have message boards that owners still frequent.
Post photos of what you go with.
I’m sorry, but Ghiblis are trash. Look up Doug Demuros video on it - he may not be the end all source for reviews, but he does a pretty good job of showing how overpriced they are.
Recommend a used ‘17 C43 AMG or ‘18 S4 at a similar price for similar - better performance and increased interior luxury. Probably less maintenance with the Audi, but less road presence as well.
