I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

I’m guessing 130-160
No director of content should be accepting 180k. That’s a low end EP salary... 250 + or you’re bringing productions values down for everyone!
Sounds like a director of social strategy role would be comparable
I think that range is fair. Incoming people I see with this range are 130’s up to 180 if it’s a big place and you have enough experience
I run social strategy at a large agency and make $180 but I have 16 years experience
To be fair the director of content title hasn’t been around 8 years
8 years experience as an HOP?
At Vayner or elsewhere? What kind of agency or company
The role is developing content marketing and social strategies and overseeing the implementation of those strategies and the execution of content creation. No, not at Vayner. At large-ish advertising and marketing agency.
What's that range like ACD1?
Thanks guys. That’s generally what I was thinking. Super helpful.
And I think that higher range would be a vp
Level
@damon - yes. Not uncommon now in the digital agencies. I am always the most experienced person in the room at every meeting
I’m in this role and earn $140k
(10 years exp, 4 years leading a Content practice)
130-160 seems low for a director level. But I guess salaries are dropping in this industry.
You're all full of it
Nah
