Or do the SAC and consultants who are a part of the recruiting team also have some input on hiring decision? Additionally, what is the turnaround time from the final round interview to the actual decision? Do they call rejections (if so would it be around the same time or later than offers)?

I had a first interview last Tuesday with Amazon, which I think went well, although I still haven't heard back 6 days later and then got an OOO annual leave msg and a no response when I chased up the named colleague today. Is this typical behaviour others have experienced when dealing with the big tech company recruiters? I found Google and Facebook recruiters to be efficient and TikTok so-so, if not a little slow, but 6 days+ seems poor.
