OP, you're thinking about the title, you should be thinking about the Pay. Best case scenario, imo, is you come in lower but at a high pay. If you're actually equipped to be a step up from the entry level role, you'll be able to coast, learn a ton, and look like a star performer / build credibility.
MBB doesn’t do variable salaries for the same tenure.
Just taking a guess here byr most likely AC
AC - might be able to negotiate some tenure credit, salaries are usually non-negotiable at MBB
I’d also say AC. There are some who are on a more accelerated track (unofficially) so worth talking to folks about that considering your experience
Studied economics at an Ivy League if that helps.
I believe realistically I would be slotted at the Senior Associate Consultant role - but on the website the choices were either AC or C.
You will not be considered for C with only 2 yrs of experience. You can try to make your case during recruiting to come in as a SrAC, but even that will be tough
