I’m currently finishing up a cybersecurity Master’s degree, have an LLM in Intellectual Property, licensed in nine states, and I’m published in the field. I wanted to practice cyberlaw and could not get anyone to hire me nor get enough business on my own to sustain me. I’m working in a completely different area of law and while I really enjoy it, it doesn’t challenge me. Any tips on how to build up this area of my practice- especially privacy law?

I’m a ‘19 grad. Got CIPP/US after taking the bar. Have a friend who’s 4 years in at a data privacy/cyber security practice group so she submitted my resume. Went through interviews & now waiting for an offer (they told me they’re just getting authorization now). So idk man, assuming this gig pans out for me, pure luck I guess

Honestly it was as much desperation as it was genuine interest. I had some privacy experience as a summer associate and my husband is a software engineer, but it was at my friend’s suggestion that I went for CIPP and applied to that firm & other similar jobs.

Also, I got that offer this evening 😆

Hii guys,

Need some suggestions on ORMB vs Ebs/Fusion profile.
Currently I am on an ORMB project, but I feel this tool is niche and have limited career progression. I got EBS/ Fusion opportunity in another organization but the hike is very minimal. Should I make the switch into EBS/Fusion profile?
Can someone please guide on this.
