Balancing work as an account manager and actually having a life outside of it is tough. I feel like I’m always “on-call”—checking emails during dinner, replying to client messages on weekends, and feeling guilty if I wait until Monday to respond. I love being reliable, but it’s starting to take a toll. I don’t want to risk client relationships by drawing boundaries, but I also don’t want to burn out. How do you set limits in a role that thrives on responsiveness? Any tips for managing work/life balance without letting anyone down?

First day of 30mg vyvanse today. Had a rush of energy and hyperfocus (too much so) about 2-4 hours in, but had a complete crash 5hrs after taking the pill (just a wave of fatigue, felt very good after a quick 15min nap actually) and not sure if it had any effect after. Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal. I got a promotion a year and 3 months ago, and got a pay raise 5 months ago. Could I still ask for a promotion to SAE if I have been supporting a team more as one? Promotions are hard to stab with.
