Been at my agency for 9 years, started as media coordinator & am now senior buyer. It’s time to move on but I have little Google ads buying experience. I’ve been on the traditional & digital side (minus search) & almost every posting asks for it. been begging my agency to train me on bc I knew it would come up in my eventual search & am now feeling trapped. I’ve been trying to find remote jobs to avoid relocation (in a mid size market) but I don’t know what to do at this point. Any suggestions

With a recession around the corner - two questions:

Journalism is the best job in the world but I feel like people are less likely to take my work seriously because I am female. So it's like they automatically think the only things I would be good at writing about are fluffy little human interest stories. I'm just a reporter like everyone else. Is there some way I can tell my supervisor that yes, I do like those stories, but I like being a serious reporter even more?

I've been following Coforge LinkedIn page, and I have decent offer from them. In one call HR said we will be moving towards 5 days work from Office, to which I said I don't mind. Now that aside, their LinkedIn posts everyone at VP SVP levels are joining.. seems like they are growing very fast, as hiring at such high Positions happens only that time.
