Best advice in this situation?

Your partner emails another partner about your work product being “horrible as expected.” Never had a direct negative feedback before.

He keeps sending me new work, but after reading that email, it’s hard to put in efforts because who knows what he’ll say behind the closed doors.

I can take “horrible” but “as expected” would make me lateral asap. Hard to change people’s perception.

Lateral.

How'd you see that email? Was it an oversight cc? Was it intentional?

Definitely dont work with either partner again. Turn down work citing workload / other matters. If not an option lateral (as others have said)

Never work with either partner again, lateral if not an option

😂

At least you found that out now and not at a review where they asked you to leave. 100% lateral, happy to give you an overview of the market if you DM me.

As others have said, time to dust off the ol’ resume.

Hello everyone! I am looking for advice. I am a C&B Team lead ( about 15 years of experience) but all my experience was in Russia. Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?

Lateral that just went through first bonus season with the firm. Not in a major market but workload is comparable to major markets. Surprised at how low the bonus was. I received solid reviews and my annualized hours were well above the requirement. Should I approach anyone about this? Wondering if it is worth addressing or if it could compromise my standing. Thanks in advance!

I applied to a part time masters program to try to pivot to a different technical field (still doing patent work, but in something that interests me more than what I’m doing now). Do I try to stick it out at the firm while getting the masters, ask for a reduced hours schedule, or get a part time, non-legal job so I can focus more on the program (one year).
