How is BDO Rise interms of WLB and growth?
I have 12+ yoe. I work in AWS with a 23L base, 13L JB and 5 RSU (29.8L ), L4. I am about to receive an offer from ADP . What band/grade would be great to negotiate. For ADP anything around 45L-48L including 12% variable (not sure about JB) is considered to be the right offer? I have another offer from Accenture 32L fixed, 10L variable, 6.4L JB. I guess wlb in Accenture would be more difficult than ADB?? What's your view fishes !!! Consider AWS and ADP in Hyderabad where Accenture in home town

The only person who can set boundaries are you. But in my experience, public accounting firms are not sympathetic and will do whatever they can to squeeze maximum amount of hours out of you. The only way you can really work less is make it seem like you are already at maximum capacity and try to load off some of your work to someone else.
But realistically, exams may need to be put on hold until after busy season. Busy season alone is already too much for many and a drain on mental and physical health. It's rough.
One thing that helps me is that my hobby has a specific time I have to dedicate to it each week. I play music but if I don't attend practice each week I lose my spot in the band. Find a way to have a hobby that you have to do every week. It forces me to take a break and is probably the only reason I haven't burned out yet.

I first did a calendar year paper view and laid out when busy season is, events and when I wanted to take my exams based on the season. I worked backwards from there to work out details. I added the details (when to study each chapter) and lived by my Google calendar and still do. I began to calendar block everything. I synced my personal calendar with my work calendar. I also automated as much as I could personally so I had less to think about (finances, grocery order pickup, robot vacuum, phone keyboard and laptop keyboard shortcuts and hot keys). When my parents were in town, I would ask for help with personal tasks. I gave myself Saturday evenings off to hang out with friends.
