BNY recently inaugurated its new campus, flying in onshore executives via a charter plane for week and spending crores on celebrations. Yet, when it's time to compensate employees fairly, cost-cutting becomes the priority. It's baffling how companies spare no expense to showcase a 'great workplace' but hesitate when it comes to rewarding the people who make it great.

Does anyone know if we can reimburse expenses for items listed in Wageworks while on maternity?

I know we cannot expense phone/internet/ commuter benefit as I am not actively doing work.

However, for other items that fall under wage works reimbursement, I couldn’t find anything in writing yet.

Could we get reimburse for taking the ITIL exam ?

How hard is everyone pushing their corporate clients to authorize nonresident assignees whose only 2020 US compensation was the value of their 2019 tax preparation?
My clients are pushing back on it this year, and I can't say I blame them. If I were in their shoes, I'd rather take the risk of not filing than the expense of filing again. From my own point of view, I don't really want to spend my time on such returns, either, even if the revenue and easy return are nice.
