I racked up about $20k in credit card debt due to a confluence of things happening at once (move, school expenses , etc ). I have a fair amount of paper assets but not a much free cash. Assets are down a decent amount with the current market cycle and I’d prefer not to sell them to cover the debt , although they easily could. For those with beach rentals, how far out do you like to have your whole summer booked? The majority of my bookings come in the 7-14 days ahead of time, because I price my property aggressively and rely on low availability in the area. I see other similar units that are fully booked for the summer at about 60-70% of my nightly rate and get a little frustrated.

Beach rental folks… how has your summer been so far? I saw a pretty significant decrease for June and July from 2021. More competition in my market seems to be driving down my nightly rate.
