See it works

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

Teaching also has a lot of stress, I recommend you start small, so you should retire from the clinic with good savings, because the pay is very different, as a teacher you earn less.
It is not an easy path, first because of the schedules, as a veterinarian, you have more flexible schedules because a lot depends on you, as a teacher it all depends on the place where you work and the load of academic hours you have assigned.
I came from the opposite condition to yours, I was a teacher, and I switched to action, and I feel it was the best decision of my life because I had a very big void in my life. Being a teacher has many disadvantages compared to being a clinical veterinarian.
Have you tried to take a month or a quarter sabbatical or even delegate? I know that sometimes it is hard to empower patients, but we can not do everything; I was in the same position as you; I was a teacher, but I understood that it was not what I liked, I went to a therapist and she helped me to take my way, I am still a clinical veterinarian, but I do not do all the work I did before.
The transition is a bit slow; you come from a world full of action to teach your days of action, our knowledge is always well received by the students and being a teacher gives you a very comfortable position of power for us. I recommend you start with a low academic load.
After you get used to being a teacher and spend years at it, you get bored, so the first thing I recommend is that you keep the option of going back to being a clinical veterinarian.
Making the switch from the clinic to teaching was not difficult for me to adjust to because I have always enjoyed teaching and sharing my knowledge with others. I also find that I am able to connect with students on a different level than I was able to with clients in the clinic.
