When is the good time to tell the company that I am 3 months pregnant. My date of joining is 18th of July. I understand by law I need to finish 80days with the company before I avail maternity benefits which I can easily do in next 3 months.

Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

I’ve never heard of that before. I’m curious to hear someone’s perspective on this.
This is true, our PTO bank is for everything-holidays, vacation, sick and it’s minimal
Are total accrued PTO for a given year inclusive of all holidays hours too?
Yes
No, I have never heard of that. Did your manager do this to you? You might want to take that to HR
It hasn't happened to me personally. Yet. But it was mentioned in several comments on Glassdoor for the company I recently interviewed with. So I just wanted to get some information in case I get this job so I'm prepared to speak to it.
I’m pretty sure L&I would be interested to hear this.
Not sure how it is legal but yes. If they are closed for holiday even though they say you are paid for holidays it is actually your pto that you spent 2 weeks trying to get 1 day of.
Yes they do require you to use PTO on Holidays if your department is closed. When Sanford took over they increased the number of pto days to cover the holiday pto. It's no longer a separate bank of hours. Same with how many other employers do not have a separate bank for sick hours.
For my job I was told because staffing is always needed even on holidays, if we don't work a holiday we have to take PTO to cover the hours.
Same but the other annoying catch here is the want less staffing on holiday so we are only required/able to work 1 holiday. It's mandatory PTO for the other holidays
