Hi guys,
Anyone from EY GDS KOCHI?
I want to build my career in analytics. I have offer from EY India, EXL and LatentView Analytics.
EY is more on the side of project management and process improvement in SaaS, as told. While there is hands-on in other two.
If I don't consider pay, which company is the best to go for considering work and culture(peope friendly).

Heavy in office, if not 100% in office. During busy season, we were working weekends in office, too. I know managers (who are not 1st year managers) in TX aren’t making $140k salary so salaries still seem to be lagging behind. Never had great bonuses in my experience there or based on what I hear from friends. I felt like you had to work nonstop to be considered a good performer and then you weren’t compensated like how B4 was but you were working insane hours to meet expectations. It seems like salaries have gotten a little better since the Mazars merger but I’ve still been underwhelmed when catching up with friends and hearing their salaries. Their bonus structure has changed multiple times but it’s very similar to any other accounting firm as in it has an annual performance bonus. They also used to do spot bonuses if you did well during a certain time or something but that was just like random & infrequent and were for top performers only. Not sure if spot bonuses are still a thing. Bonuses and raises were nothing like B4 bonuses in my experience.
Overall, I thought rewards, culture, resources, & pay at PwC were much better than my experiences with Forvis. I still liked many of the people I worked with at all levels and felt like it was good experience, but I just realized I was expected to work B4 hours so I should be getting B4 benefits. Nonetheless, it’s all very much based on office and team so I’d get a feel for who you’d be working with. I’m sure there are some offices that do more WFH than others. I think the offices I worked with & interacted with probably a bit old school and that’s why some of their rules were rigid.
