The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?
What…..

You should be pretty much near the end. You’ll probably have a final culture fit interview with the MD.
Have you had the skills interview yet where they drill you deep on your experience on projects? My process was 4 steps, but I’m a boomerang. And it depends on whether you’re doing strategy, MC, or technology
Depends on the position. Experienced hires and many Corporate Functions roles have multiple rounds beyond standard screen-behavioral-closing/office that is typically with more entry level hires. Recruiter may not know because the hiring managers may not have committed to an interview approach.
Yes, I had skills Interviews with the SM as well as with the MD. It's for a role within Finance & Risk. Just curious to know how many more since the process has gone for 3 months now..
Mine took 3-ish months as well. You will probably have one more behavioral/cultural fit interview with a senior MD. It’ll be an airport test and setting expectations about the position.
