We were growing fast at 35%+ a year before COVID in the US (Not sure how COVID will impact us this year). I can't really speak to how we are doing globally.
Our focus in the US is entirely manufacturing (e.g. automotive, aerospace, electronics), industrials (e.g. chemicals, industrial goods) and energy (e.g. oil & gas, utilities).
When we pitch we go up against MBB, Deloitte, ATK, OW, and occasionally Accenture. In our strong suits, we often win these bids.
Yeah, we do tend to understaff. I managed my first project as a Senior Consultant 1, about a year post MBA.
The salary is great, IMO (make ~ $245k all in as Manager 1 in the US). But the promotion cycles are a bit slower vs. competition, and the hours are pretty long.
As far as brand name, my colleagues and I have no issues getting interviews with big names.
We've had a few people exit to Amazon, Big4, PE, and Blue Chip automotive/O&G recently.

My hunch (based on anecdotal experience) is they are making a name in the industrial and manufacturing sector. Not sure about other areas
Their industrials work is pretty impressive. Excluding the specialist boutiques in my niche, they have the best work (better than McKinsey - bain/bcg don't really play in my market)
Who??
@EY1, my data points don't relate to the US.
