I'm in that group, it was a merger of the technology strategy and the technology advisory groups. So although there are a lot of 'core strategy', there are also a contingent of advisory - which is a group that was just like strategy, but leant more into technology and perhaps stayed on projects a little longer. I think it's a great group, lots of opportunity!

I am also in TS&A. There is quite a bit of variety, which probably also changes by MU. However, some examples of typical strategy projects would be assessing and developing roadmaps for major tech transformations, whether that be a cloud transformation, an operating model, an architecture that supports a new business service, etc. A pretty simple way of thinking about it might be that our key capabilities are meant to address the CIO's agenda.

I've been looking for salaries for various position with Big 4 assurance, but information is all over the place. So after some research here, reddit, goingconcern, glassdoor, etc. I've put this info together: !! The salary grid below is for Big 4 Audit, HCOL (NYC,SF), gross amounts without bonus !! Of course they can be higher or lower by a few k's on each position depending on impact tier, but I tried to look for average amounts. If you have information please post it so we can update.

Some of these posts are ridiculous. They’re like just exited consulting to FAANG/Niche Startup with $150k base and $400k TC with 6 months of experience,you can do it too! Then they ghost or explain that they are a former SWE 😬 coming from MBB. Going to some super Niche role that people with crazy backgrounds are recruited for. Congrats, but not everyone has that background
