Vancouver BC is in another country. They have immigration and stuff.
Yes that's what I'm asking here.
No. Get in the line like everyone else.
What line are you referring to?
Yes. Typically job applications ask if you would require visa or work permit sponsorship to work in the country where the job is based. You would likely answer yes to that - check online for work permit guidelines in Canada - requirements vary based on type of job, and your eligibility will vary based on your experience.

One of the ladies that reports to me flew up there weekly to work. She didn’t seem to have a problem getting the paperwork done to work there. Whistler is amazing! Vancouver is meh... just another city
Americans can stay in Canada for upto 6 months for business purposes. As long as they are being paid by an American entity it should be fine

Canadian here with US-citizen relatives.
As a US citizen, you'd be eligible for an LMIA-exempt NAFTA work permit provided your profession is in the NAFTA professionals list (it does include management consultants) and provided you have pre-arranged employment (i.e., you already have a job offer).
Anecdotally, Canadian firms are quite open to hiring US citizens who are eligible for NAFTA based work permits. The administrative overhead from the employer's perspective is almost nothing, and you can get the work permit at the border.

Yes, the Canadian equivalent.
Don't forget that you'll have to pay double taxes though. One of the biggest burdens of US citizenship.
