Bain & Company Hello Fishes.
What is the average CTC offered for a Research Associate with 1 year of experience in Healthcare consulting?
I'm looking forward for opportunities, hence would be great to know the current CTC trends to effectively negotiate with the employer.
Thanks in advance!

As someone who is working in ID, I need further context to answer, i.e. your background, experience, and what you would like to do. For example, I work at Palladium, one of the largest government contractors in the ID sphere for USAID, FCDO, DFAT etc, and I am mostly doing project management/finance, plus business development, with a business administration background. I did a brief stint at Accenture and I know for a fact that consulting skills translates well into that. If you are looking at thematic areas, that depends entirely on what is your edu background, if you did research, if you are an SME for something that can translate well into ID. As for the salary, definitely expect lower than consulting but the extent depends on the organisation (I would check glassdoor if I were you).
7 yrs of healthcare consulting (hospitals/insurers) at Deloitte, M level, and want to do global health strategy or ops work
Should I interpret the lack of activity in this bowl as indicative of the global development career space at large? half joking
Forgot about career growth - for ID consulting companies everything works more or less like in a traditional consultancy. You have your KPIs, your promotions, your office politics etc etc. However, as the money is limited (see taxpayers' money), the capacity for an organisation to keep growing and expand and hire people is limited too.
Looking to figure out whether I should stay in healthcare ops consulting or pivot to global health/ID. The way its looking, I’m better off looking to make my own dollars and then donating (and volunteering). Seems like the politics and shenanigans are similar, but will be paid lower
