Answer, 100-120, depending on location and experience.
Question for you, do you really want to do the work of a business analyst or project manager at a bank?
If you answer yes, great firm that pays well.
Base at 100 in Chicago, which I found out was a little low.
They offer large bonuses, have heard ~ 25%, but, like all firms, upper limit is constrained by firm performance - which is highly cyclical because of industry (boom or bust).
Heads up, they split bonuses across two payments, one 3 months after year-end and second 6 months after, these was to me a cheap retention play.
Question for you, why are you looking to change firms and what about Capco attracts you?
What’s capco?
It's a botique consulting firm. Specialize in FS clients. Expanded in Europe in 2000s now rapidly growing in the US.
Huge range. 90-140 I've seen
Capco1 elaborate?
Capco1 please stay on this thread as it is hard to get ahold of you folks on FB! What level are you? What kind of projects at FS clients do you do? They are recruiting me.
SC here, came from Big 4.
Capco largely has staff aug work and small strategy projects helmed by specialist and one or two supporting junior staff.
I have not found the firm to fit me because of a lack of clear communication and effective leadership.
@c1 what's your base? Also what are you looking to exit out out to from Capco? Are you NYC or Chicago?
I want to focus on FS and work on fintech related projects. They are also giving me a sweet salary increase. From 85-112k. Looks like they have good bonuses, better than big 4/Accenture. How long have you been with them?
Keep im mind, Capco is strong in FS operations, doing most of their work in banking back offices.
Fin tech work is front office/ strategy; as I said, Capco has some, but limited project opportunities.
If you are looking to do emerging technology work, Capco is not there yet.
