I am going to ask HR to give me Digital cadre compensation, currently i am ninja but working in digital tech.(microsoft data engineering) from starting,my compensation is not according to the digital skillset ,so i am going to ask to promote me to digital cadre.
now how to wrote email with this, also whom to include in cc other than HR, also what other things i need to prepare,also i have other option ready like if they say no,i will switch,but I want to ask this 1st if possible☺

Hi fish, trying to figure out when to exit consulting. Currently i’m a specialist (one level below engagement manager), and will need additional ~1.5 year to make em. I have also have a green card complication, so need to wait for ~8 months before i can leave. So, would that make sense to stick around to make em? Or should I exit at once when green card is resolved?
I feel that it is hard to directly exit into a manager role even after promoting to em. What is your thoughts? TIA

My husband wants to get into PM work in construction (Ideally WFH). Currently he’s doing lighting protection but has been very ambitious and deals a lot with multiple contractors on sites. He should be taking his Journeyman certification test early next year. Any advice for how he can make the shift into the PM world? He’s working to get his CAPM early March 2023 and should have his associates in business be the end of 2023. And advice is appreciated :)

I was hired like 4 months ago , as a civil engineering technician (with my degree) , i was so happy to accept any offer that i can get since it’s my first job after graduation and i have no connections in the field,coming from Canada to Michigan, and with zero experience outside my school, now after i got some experience and 2 certifications that my company needs, i feel i am under paid , and i got a very good offer from a competitor , plus i feel shy to ask my boss for a raise now any advice?

I want to move into management and I have been told the generic advice of "Act like you have the role already and then get it". I am not afraid of working hard, but I keep thinking this just serves the company in getting someone who does manager work for not manager pay. Is this just me? How have other people proved they are ready for a manager role?

I got interviewed at PwC for Associate role in Delivering Deal Value (DDV) practice. The interview was taken by a senior manager. It was a good experience (around 30 mins duration). He told me that the next round would be conducted by director. But it's been more than 15 days since the interview and there is no communication for further rounds. Does it confirm a rejection??
