Pay is set firm wide (based on the classification of the location’s cost of living). Florida is on the same scale so no difference there. The associates are on a step scale (1-8) based on years of service. Bonuses are set as well - 1900 hour target means you get 10K bonus. If you exceed, starting at 2000 hours, you get a percent of your salary (so 2000 hours you get 5%, 2050 10%, etc). That’s on top of the 10K bonus. You get salary capped once you hit the 8th year.

Pay is slightly different. No guarantee raises in salary (ie it’s not lockstep like associates). Bonuses are the same as associates re 1900 goal and other hourly bonuses.

I’m concerned about the surge in omicron. I packed everything, just in case. Q2 is ending, a new quarter is starting. We get new kids each quarter as a Specials teacher.
It’s stressful at quarter changeovers.
In going back after break, it’s too much of a contrast. I cannot sleep, I wake up in the middle of the night, “for the day”, about 6 nights a week. To stay structured, I go to “Surrender yoga” daily. I’m good to go do 1 more thing after yoga. I feel accomplished. Couching causes anxiety.

Anyone have any reliable free resources (CLEs, practice guides) for tax law and estate/probate/wills? I don’t have the money for anything paid, but I’d like to selfstudy these areas in the meantime. Boutique I have been eyeing has billable hour requirement of 1500-1600 and comes with a 20-25% paycut. Is this a stupid idea and should I grind it out until I can move in house?
