Very easy at Deloitte. You go to the portal and request it, I have never seen anyone denied in 10 years.
Depends on practice but PwC is pretty simple especially since there’s a Northeast practice where you likely have the same team with a presence in different offices

Depends on the firm but it normally goes through some type of approval process.
Just went through this at PwC. It's a streamlined process where you have to internally apply and go through rounds of interviews. Takes some collab with HR, Recruitment, and your current teams to release your time and find a replacement for you.
It’s if you are good
As long as you communicate ahead of time with your current team and come up with a plan to release your time, your PML will take it from there.
Yes it was easy when I did it many years ago. I was going to the Bay Area where they needed people so it was approved right away.
I did and I made a good business case and was performing at a very high level.
