Everyone is vp in the banks
If going into FS, pretty good. Seems like a lot of VP's in FS companies. I know a guy who went from Sr. Associate (close to Mgr promotion) to a VP role with a bank
I think the IT department alone of my banking client has 17 VPs
KPMG1, who did that guy fare? Is he still with the same company? Worried about overreaching
Agree. Everyone is VP in banks. Doesn't mean anything. Assistant VPs are like Analysts and Analysts are normally interns.
Everyone is a VP in a bank. Its like the second prkmotion. Now if you move into VP of a banks front office (IB) that's impressive
He's still there, I think been about a year. He's done well, I don't think it's an overreach. Like many here are saying, lots of VP's in banks. I think it's sort of their manager equivalent in many cases.
