Product Management at a large bank vs Business Analytics/S&O for FAANG? Recently started in the former role, but have interview calls for the latter just come up in my mailbox. Similar comp when adjusted for the different job locations. Can anyone help me with the Pros and Cons please. JPMorgan Chase Did a first round interview for a senior level position at JP Morgan.. hiring manager said I should receive a call back within a couple of weeks.. been over a month.. no intimation post that.. the HR in charge of hiring or scheduling haven’t replied to my emails on what comes next and haven’t scheduled anything. So should I consider this as a dead end ? Does this generally happen at JP? Feels weird that I have been ghosted after what I felt was a very good interview.. Was a good fit too.JPMorgan Chase

Chase sapphire hands down! It's most bang for buck! Google the points guy and he had an amazing breakdown of the value of the card :)
I currently have the Sapphire preferred and the Amex platinum. Platinum is great for travel perks (lounge access, 5X on travel booked thru them) which is just not worth the fee given the current climate. Haven’t looked into it but i hear the Amex Gold is pretty good for dining and entertainment. However, the value of Chase points to me seems way better than Amex with more options for redemption and each point being worth 1.25 or 1.5 when booking for hotels or flights. Amex points are worth less than 1 cent on that unless transferred.
I would definitely vote Chase, and would favor the preferred over the reserve at this time.

Thank you!

Had both. Chase is the best. Many points, so effortless to transfer and use them.
I have the delta platinum Amex card. It’s worth the airline perks WHEN I travel. Not sure when that will happen again. Lol

Look up the Chase trifecta. Chase UR is definitely the way to go.
I don’t have a Chase card, but the AMEX plat has more than paid for its annual fee for me, and I have barely used any of the travel benefits.
All kinds of little things add up, like getting 5% off groceries for 3 months, or $15 uber credits each month, etc.
I did the math a month or two ago and calculated I’d gotten ~$700ish in various benefits compared to the $550 fee.
Also I’ve heard if you call and bitch at them about the fee and threaten to cancel, they’ll waive it. So I may try that in a few months when I get hit with it.
Sapphire and AMEX Gold premium rewards are the (2) I carry and use for everything. I am very happy with them. Used to have Platinum but got rid of it after I stopped traveling a lot.
