Hello! Anyone work at GE Healthcare?
Wow. Getting to Ohare from the city sucks
Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Get a Scrum Master cert instead
It helps with clients if you're doing IT implementations but I think the better value is in understanding the actual material so you can manage your team. Too many managers on the implementation side don't understand risks, issues, critical path planning or resource leveling. I recommend Rita's pmp prep guide. Also see if your firm will pay for the exam (and if their internal credits you can use for the educational requirement).
No
Do you think Bob the Builder went round touting for PMP?
Agree with Manager1. Definitely helpful for IT projects and most recent IT pursuits I've seen require Project Managers with that certification. I took an 8 week crash course and felt fully prepped and passed.
Ey paid me $3000 for passing the pmp... and paid for the test. Certification + free money = worth
