Rising Star
You could be approached at any bar or club regardless of whether or not it is a circuit party. Just decline to dance and move on. You will not ruin someone's life by not dancing with then. The guys who are used to going out and approaching others are very used to handling rejection. Don't worry about it so much and enjoy yourself.
Thank you. My anxiety needed this.

Are you exclusively into circuit music? Plenty of gay dance venues/parties that are non-sexual.

Find new friends
Yeah that's kind of the point of a circuit party. Probably best to go with a large group of friends where there's less pressure
Definitely. I have more fun when the group is bigger.
Used to go to many of them in my late 20s (mid 30s now) and had a blast. My recommendation is to go in knowing your own boundaries, always have a group with you, share your location and don't accept goodies from strangers. And hey, if it's not your vibe, lots of other social events that aren't as intense :)
