Why on Earth would anyone go to Cooley? Are you nuts? If you got a 1L job it’s not like yo Lu don’t have other options.
Every company has layoffs. It sucked, but the firm is top notch and from what I hear a great place to practice, in most offices.
That said, there's really only one biglaw firm remaining, and that's Milbank.
