CRMA study materials? It would seem that the IIA recommends their CRMA Study Guide (1st edition!!??). Is the best (and apparently only) option out there?

If you read the book and buy the question book then you should be good. I studied less than a month and found that if you‘ve been working in IA for a while then it’s pretty easy.

Hi! So a few friends of mine and I want to go to the beach over the week of Labor Day. Like Puerto Rico or Cabo to a hotel or Airbnb. Are the beaches open there? Please save the comments about us disregarding Covid :) we are taking all necessary precautions to stay safe and follow rules :)

Started a masters while working. About halfway done. Should I be leveraging this at all in compensation discussions this fall? Or something I should wait to bring up until the program is over?

Two weeks in at a (contract) client gig and not having Slack (or any form of instant messaging across the office) is driving me crazy.

Does anyone know if being promoted to manager negatively impacts the green card process? Does it need to restart with the new salary, title and everything?

Would you take a larger 430 sq ft apartment with no balcony but a building roof deck or a smaller ~320 sq ft apartment with a private balcony. Assume perpetual WFH office setup

I am good at technically challenging tasks but bad at simple/monotonous ones. People think I’m lazy but I genuinely feel depressed when I am not intellectually stimulated. Advice?

Dating this guy, not sure if he’s actually interested in me or just tolerating me because of COVID- aka nothing else really to do- the reason I’m sorta confused is because it always seems like he’s always the one talking (so I’m learning about me) but he’s never really asking me questions (to learn about me)

I’m great at solving nuanced legal issues and applying the specific facts. I’m pretty terrible at writing the factual background section (of anything). Any advice?

I literally don’t know what to do with my career. I don’t hate tax but I’m also not passionate about it. I could go back to school and study something I like, but I don’t want to incur college debt. For those who have changed career, what’s the thought process that finally led you to such decisions?
