Curious on Alixpartners interview process for director level. I’ve been through 3 phone discussions all set up by HR, now I’m working directly with the team on discussions going forward.

I have a set of virtual interviews that last from 9-5 with 8 different people. Why does that seem a little excessive to me? I understand that they want to make sure many people across different departments approve of me but it still seems like a lot.
