185 base, max out 401k and put away roughly 45%. Rent is 3200 (split with wife) nyc
@K1 doing the same. Wife and I are on the same level and we are contributing into a joint account at equal parts where the rent is paid from. Don't see anything wrong with that from where I live (2018)
Lol I don't understand how you people do that.
93k pre tax, basically 0 savings (fluctuates between 2-3k), around 10% of my income goes on student loans, and rent is 1600. NYC. And I live paycheck to paycheck

What are some good ways to track spending? I make $170K pre-tax but still struggle to save as I don’t have a good method to track. Multiple credit cards maybe one of the issues.

I will go first. Making 98k pre tax, save about 20k annually.
