Current M3 on fast track to SM in 2022 in GPS.
Considering 2 offers:
1. SAP (same salary) but much better WLB, visa transfer approved and will resign tomorrow (likely)
2. Tech industry offer: 50-60% higher than SAP, but will need me to stay another 2-3 months for visa transfer.

What does the 🐠 here recommend I should do?

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

Hey! Considering negotiating my pay after 1 year of CT experience. In Florida my base is $29/hr. How much of a raise should I ask for (if they don’t automatically give one)? And should I wait to be a travel tech with another year of experience?

Does anyone have any insight into partners retiring early? I am at a point where I need to consider leaving if I am not aiming for partner. I don’t see myself working past my 40s. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
