Anyone was able to switch from an MBB to another within a year? Have horrible first few months, with over 60% of my time on bench.

I am looking for a referral in Reservoir/Production for an O&G company in Houston. Petroleum Engineering degree. Willing to go to the field or offshore (operator). 100% of my upstream experience is in the office within a services company. It’s been difficult that “switch”.

Boutique or big 4?

I'm currently an ops manager at a big 4 in London and received an offer from a small boutique firm with 25-30% pay rise.

I'm also in the process with Accenture but I feel like I'm not sure if I'd jump just for the money but also change in environment.
What type of things would you be asking yourself if you were in my shoes and debating to jump ship?

Relatively new in Big4 M&A advisory doing mostly integration work with some pre deal DD mixed in. I recently heard L.E.K. Consulting places well in MM PE but don't know much about them otherwise.
