Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

Hello fishes🐠. Can anybody guide me on the dress code followed in the BlackRock London office? Will be joining soon and want to ensure I dress appropriately (My current workplace is very casual, people wear jeans and sneakers). For context, a woman joining in a role that is not client facing, not portfolio manager. Thanks in advance.

From my understanding, Chase is leaps and bounds ahead of other firms as far as technology. Also, you will gain a lot of knowledge at Chase. Training here is worth sticking around. I started as a PB, then RB, then PCB then became an RM and I’ve had other roles since. Currently I work in Credit Risk in the commercial bank so RB is a good place to start to build your career.
It may be different where you are and with the company you work for, but in my experience RBs don't get paid anywhere near that, think 48K-50K max.
I would have to agree with TOC1. Based on what I've noticed, RBs base isn't that much. You can negotiate but there is still no guarantee that you'll get your desired amount.
If you are interested in the relationship building / asset management side of the house I may look at private wealth management. Harder to get into (though I know there are still roles available) because there are smaller teams for higher min client accounts but the starting comp is higher. I know FRB had associates making $100k+ tc year 1.
Given FRB is now JPMC - the SIE will help w/ your applications but networking will be your best friend.
