currently in a background check for a role in second line risk and compliance at an online payments company, no issues with work history or criminal history but credit history is abysmal due to identity fraud by a family member and related complications - all reports are frozen - is this something you would proactively reach out about or just wait to see if it's an issue.

You could just ask the recruiter… say you’re just wanting to ensure a smooth process, and that you froze your credit as risk management due to potential identity theft… do I need to unfreeze it? If so, do I need to unfreeze all of them or is there a specific one?

I would get ahead of that once since it was a family member committing a crime against you.

During the pandemic I lost my job and was desperate. I found a 5 month tax law internship to full hire and applied.
Description: “$20/hr to JDs, $15/hr to JD students”.
This was our convo.
Me: …I graduated from law school a few months ago…
Interviewer: so I’ll be paying you $15/hr if you’re hired… I’ll let you know in a week
Me (in no position to negotiate): umm… okay
*3 months later*
Interviewer: You’re hired! However it will now be an unpaid internship, are you still interested?

I left my old job the end of January (due to compensation) and hate my new job. I don’t sleep and am constantly stressed. I have been interviewing since May, but I can’t seem to find a good fit that has an insurance Plan that fits my needs. I am thinking about reaching out to my old job (very small and tight knit) to see if there’s a position available for me still. They told me there would be when I left…what is the best way to go about this?

For those who were diagnosed as an adult can you provide some insight into how you were able to obtain a diagnosis. I went to my primary care dr who referred me to another dr who specialized in mental health. He asked me about 5 questions before telling me I should see a neuropsychologist for an official assessment. The referral he gave me is super pricey and apparently isn’t covered by insurance. Is that normal?

Hi
I have 4 years of total experience with hands on experience in CMS and SQL and little bit of power bi. Now I am looking to explore whole new field of Salesforce as it's in demand right now and I am not enjoying my current role. I want your experience about switching a field and how difficult it is after that much of experience and is this a good idea?

Hello Sharks,

I am a Mechanical Engineer with ~5 years of experience in Aerospace Industry. Graduated in Tier 2 city college.

I want to give a try to Canadian opportunities and it would be really helpful if someone gives me initial guidance.

I am aware of the process but would need some detailed guidance, probably from someone who has migrated from India to Canada with a Tier 2 city college degree.

Thank you in advance.

Anyone deal with this before: I inherited a severely under developed team including a sr analyst who clearly was doing the bare minimum, if that. Over the last 6 months I have had to coach him and correct simple mistakes in his work and recently it got so bad that I told him he would receive a low rating in his evaluation. He lashed out, involved HR saying he doesn’t understand why, and now my review points out stuff that I would have let slide.
