Salesforce.com
Not in tech but Acn is stronger in technology and outsourcing than big 4 imo. Talk to people in the practice and look at comp. To me those were deciding factors to move to acn
Pros will likely be compensation and bonus
OP yes we have client and market in technology branch too...
What's SFDC?
@a2 where did you move from?
You mean advisory at kpmg?
Advisory at kpmg breaks up into MC, risk consulting, deal advisory, and strategy @healthcare1
OP Deloitte. For me was the best move tbh. Have so much more responsibility and interesting MC/strat work. But I made sure I talked to the people and understood what types of projects and work were there
@a2 what are you in at accenture? And is it aligned to c&m?
OP a consultant in MC. Yes to C&M of course...
@a2 That's different from AcN strategy right?
OP yes. I do strategy projects too so the work is super interesting and different between that and MC. I m lucky though
So would you know where the Salesforce practices falls? MC?
OP my guess is Technology which is not part of consulting branch. Within consulting (by industry) there is MC/TC but things that are purely of technical nature are usually in technology
The job post said client and market @a2 ...
@a2 so how's that not consulting?
OP the way acn is broken down: consulting (by industry TC/MC), technology, digital, operations (mainly outsourcing near and offshore) and strategy. I am not sure what's C&M and how they make these distinctions but it's not just consulting and strategy. Hope this helps - look at service lines, do your research. Should be all online
