any telltale signs of layoffs in tiger?
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Lol noooooo never on Monday and Thursday.
Nope...every time project leadership has an issue with what I do, I remind them that I don’t care if fire me.
same
Not in the slightest. I’d skip out that b with a smile on my face
Same! 😂
Same here. CYA sycophants!
fired? a little
laid off, nope.
I want to be the person who was laid off with 6 months severance and was re-hired almost immediately since the firm laid off too many. Oh well, my dream!!
gotta admit it's pretty creative
I would rather be the one doing the dumping, but I wouldn’t lose sleep over it at all.
No, unless fired for performance issues or fraud. None that I foresee happening ever
I'd rather get fired after my bonus pays out in April
Considering I’m broke yes
Yes. I’m on a work visa so would probably have to leave the country too. Happy Friday!
No. But I’m also on a work visa and would be sad to leave the US
Kinda? I feel like I’ve worked my ass off. So I’d be more indignant than anything else.
Mad.
I'd be relieved, to be honest. Gearing up for a shift, saves me the trouble of quitting.
