No advice but good luck!
Here are a few that stood out to me: Are you familiar with the types of loans and lines of credit that small businesses can apply for? If you had to choose one area of finance that small business owners should be knowledgeable about, what would it be and why? What would you do if a small business owner asked you about a type of financing that you had never heard of before? Hopefully these are helpful! Good luck.
My only advice is to learn more about the business and company. Practice your interview and ensure you sell yourself the best way, even if you don't know the answer.
It always helps to research proactively about the company and the role you are applying for. Also, pose thoughtful questions that way they'd know that you are really interested in them.
Is it for Small Business Banker or Small Business Consultant? SBC is a branch based role focused on working with the branch based small business clients, whereas SBB is outside sales focused, heavily based on credit.
Okay, so you’ll want to talk about how you’ve developed business outside of the branch environment. Also, what your network looks like (CPA’s, attorneys, etc) Also how you’ve worked with internal business partners to help grow your business.
As for the process, typically you will meet with the recruiter who will do a phone screening first. Then you will go to either a Performance Manager or Business planning manager, and then the hiring manager. They may do it as a panel. Expect the process to take a couple months typically unless this is an urgent need.
Hi! My only advice is to focus on your strengths and how you can use them to your advantage during the interview. You should also relate them to the skills required for your role.
