Currently Windows Systems Engineer looking to transition to an Azure Iaas Engineer role. I play to learn Terraform to use IaC but don't want to spend a ton on Azure to spin up and maintain the project. What are you thoughts on this?

I need advice.
I work at an manufacturing company as a technician. My job title is a technician but they use me as an engineer as-well. There are three techs overall in the company. My boss who hired me understands what my degree is in so he uses me to design parts and write reports. The plant manager doesn’t know my skills so anytime I’m in the office working he calls me to the floor to do something the other techs can do. Should I have a talk with the boss about it? (I ran out of characters)

I am trying to figure out how to switch to SWE. I have a masters in civil engineering and have a good background in higher level math. It looks like the better coding boot camps are quite expensive. The alternative is another masters in CS which is the same cost as many boot camps. Any recommendations on picking between a coding boot camp and getting another masters degree in CS? I’m looking to get into the best position possible after getting an education in CS (get a job quick and good pay).

Tax senior with CPA at small firm. Best way to get to Big 4 audit? (LA or OC) Went to non-target so little to no alumni at B4. I don’t mind the switch to a lower title since audit was always my preference and was never a fan of tax (stayed local for family).

Desperate for an answer to this seemingly simple but infuriating tech issue - I have an external monitor attached to my laptop with an hdmi cord. How can I get the monitor to stay on the same screen while I switch between desktops on the laptop. I'd like to gather opinions on peer code reviews in software engineering. All seem to agree that managers are to be excluded from such reviews. But what about leads? In particular, what about a nontechnical lead?
