It depends, if you are an expat who worked in the UK / US and currently based in Singapore, either internal transfer or going external is 100% doable, big companies would normally be willing to sponsor you.
But if you are based in other countries such as Malaysia, it will be very difficult for you to come to Australia, if you have a quick scan on LinkedIn or in your internal ACN network, few people have done this.
Right now, it doesn't make any difference because of border closure, but no harm to get your skill assessment done and get ready to apply independently. When border opens, you can start to try with accenture or other companies as well, but I know accenture sponsors visa, at least for strategy practice.
Have seen people transfer to aus over the last few months on visa, so definitely possible. Reach out to the mobility team
It’s pretty much impossible to travel to Australia right now without PR.
I would apply for PR independently.
This. Consulting firms cannot sponsor visas right now since Management Consultant is not on the Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL), and non-PMSOL visas are not processing during the border closures.
