That CPA really is so confusing when I took this course online it’s under CPA. Canadian Payroll Association later on it became National Payroll Institute. It has the same colour logo as Certified Professional Accountant or is it Certified Public Accountant.?

Bad take. Please keep abbreviating as long as you spell it out for the first use. Don’t make abbreviations up but if a generally accepted one exists, use it.

Can you give an example? Because otherwise it just sounds like you need to train them if you spot lack of understanding.
I saw this a lot before I left in 2019. It wasn't the common abbreviations you see every day, it was the ones that staff just randomly made up. Such as PDWC (per discussion with client), VIR (variance is reasonable). The guy who was making all these up had been with our firm since he was a staff, so he didn't bring them over from another firm. He just randomly one day decided he was going to make up his own abbreviations.
