I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. Will my offer get reverted?Cognizant Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies Accenture

Got an offer to join Deloitte as a CBO - Project Delivery Specialist– Scrum Master.
The offer is 115k+5k bonus with a 9% AIP. (I have 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master. I haven’t finished my bachelors yet.) Previously the role was CBO - Project Delivery Senior Analyst – Scrum Master after back and forth with the hiring manager with a salary of 102k + 6k signing bonus and a 6% AIP. Thoughts?

D1 gets paid 98k to do staff augmentation for a dinosaur federal agency, thinks Deloitte doesn't do accounting because he's a special cyber snowflake, and hopes that banking is dead so his long term puts in Ethereum look smart.
Why are all federal Deloitters the same?
Yes you are right. It sucks to work for a dinosaur federal agency like the CIA, NSA or DoD. Places with budgets North of half a trillion dollars. Places where us "staff augers" are put on the front lines of Cyber warfare. Sure not all Cyber jobs are from the movie hackers, but It's a shame I only get paid 100k a year to work 40 hour weeks and go home to my family every night at 4pm. DS1 everything about a data scientist screams staff Aug.... Now please go back to compiling your unstructured data on cigarette deaths in America. Hope those frequent flyer miles get you laid. Cheers
D1, you mean to say that GE files it taxes on turbotax??
First year SC 105k...idk what you talking about. Cyber too tho lol
I work 50 hours a week, moderate stress, and travel all the time. Always work to do. It's not all about money and making extra 10K sometimes extra 10 hours a week makes a difference. Having 500 hours extra a year to spend with my loved ones is priceless.
Listen my ninja..... Deloitte isn't an accounting firm anymore... Tax accounting is like 20% of the business..... We are the largest Cyber security and IT consulting company in the world. "By Revenue"
Accounting is dead... That's why they have turbo tax and quick books
And if you truly believe Deloitte (not Deloitte consulting) isn’t an accounting firm anymore you are naive...
Can you send me the article where it says Big 4 has changed to Big 3? And if actually you think I’m a bank teller we have some more serious issues on hand...
We got your back bro..... Don't let these Bean counters get to you
First year advisory SC 98k... Sup CYBER 🤙🤙🤙🤙
I think Cyber is the only arm of advisory that gets paid close to Deloitte Consulting.
I don't travel and don't work not than 40. Federal for life
Cyber is the one group that is paid similar to consulting.
First year is probably 100-120k depending on your rating. It’s wide because SC MBA hires come in around 145k
A1 DON'T mention accounting in my presence. M1 I said it in my post 98k
Correct, that makes sense that sometimes both groups would work together on various projects. However, my understanding is the S&O consultants are the ones actually talking with the C-suite execs and working on the operations side, whereas Advisory is doing a bunch of compliance SOX testing and risk management and provide reports to upper middle management. AKA providing financial and accounting advice....
@A1 S&O is only one part of consulting. Those of us in tech and in human capital also talk to C-suite. Can’t speak much about advisory
I'm sorry that you are an accountant A1.... But look at the numbers. It's time to think about your long term career plan
I’m in banking so first of all just no...second of all looks like your service line is lumped in with the "audit” revenue line item further proving my point
^ long term puts in ethereum is smart. We are all the same
I’m gonna have to side with D1 on this one. 40 hours @ $100k > 60 hours at $120k, by a long shot.
An extra $20k doesn’t mean shit if it means you have to work extra hours, sacrifice your health (many commercial consultants put on extra weight), and spend time away from family.
SC1 here, $105k, working 40 hours a week, telework one day from home, with a 15 minute commute to work.

This will get ugly, but let me say this. In advisory you make SC in 2 years while in consulting you make it in 4, so it’s higher in consulting. The SC range for commercial consulting is 100-165kish
