Deloitte Fish, D just filed my H1B renewal, regular filing, Vermont Service Center says it will take 9-12 months (approx) to process the application, which is more than 240 days. Anyone in same boat?

Seeking immigration / travel advise. I know we are not lawyers but any experiences / stories would be helpful.

Can I enter the US when I have H1B change of employer petition approved but employed with my current company and serving notice period? Which company’s I-797 form do I show immigration? Do I tell them about switching jobs, etc.?

Why if you are on H1B is so much problematic for vendors looking for contractors ? Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. I know for PERM process, meeting minimum requirements is important but not sure if H1B have such requirement. I heard that for H1B as long as it’s a position requiring bachelors degree and specifically occupation that should be fine. But kinda worried about this.
