Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Go with Deloitte
I’m not saying that out of firm pride or anything, just go with the most money because otherwise the big 4 are indistinguishable besides their colors

D. I see the work that all four do and D is really good. They’re also a ton more credible in IT strategy than PwC so you’ll have better projects.

Go Deloitte. The people, pay, and prestige are better. I used to work at PwC and it was terrible and knew people from Deloitte…quality of humans was still better at D.
D1 is right and I’m at PwC. Unless you have a great team/viable path to partnership here at PwC, just follow the money.

I chose Deloitte, higher offer than the other firms. 11 years and 10 pounds later I’m still here. Time flies in consulting.
For me, it would depend on how I feel about the hiring manager and the org culture/team dynamic. Let that be the deciding factor because you will likely make the same comp at both.
