Don’t be the last main cabin 1 on. If you are in the beginning/middle of the group you should be fine. End of the group can be questionable
I think this depends on the plane. Lately I’ve been flying Airbus 319, 320, 321s where the bags “fit like a book on a bookshelf” which allows more bags to fit in general. I’d say Main Cabin 1 is most likely fine for overhead bin space and Main Cabin 2 is where it can get dicy.
Nope. Should be fine
K1 - im not really sure! I dont have status on Delta. 😄 hopefully it will be the same going back home on Thursday!
I've been flying Delta the last 3 weeks and boarded main cabin 1 and there hasn't been much space left once I got on. Although it's just a connection plane so not as much overhead space.
Like C1 says, depends on the plane. Mainline? Should be fine. Delta connection? Probably not
Agree but if you have to check, at least Delta has a 20 min guarantee. I don’t check a ton, but maybe 10 times in past 2 years and luggage frequently beats me to the carousel. JFK is close to 20 min, and only had 1 miss and it was by 2 min
