After some time in consulting I have realized that this isn’t that career for me. What would be some advice you would give a young person looking to explore other careers/industries? (Don’t want to quit a good consulting job bc I don’t like it)

Ironically, I'd say consulting is the best place to explore career options. Consulting specifically doesn't have to be right for you, especially if ppt, sales, etc isn't the right long term fit.
Just stay general enough and jump technologies and industries until you find something you enjoy, so you can bounce to that when you are ready. Getting certifications or back to back projects in the same space can pigeon hole you, so only pursue that once you are sure.
That's what I did. Found industries I thought were interesting. Found out PM was the combination of the day to day things I didn't hate. Got paid to find myself and then leveraged the brand and YOE to jump for more money and WLB.

Hi , I recently started preparing for " data analyst" course. I have masters degree in computer science and 2 years experience as business analyst. Currently I'm on a career break of almost 7 years and trying to get back into IT as a data analyst now.
I started doing a course on coursera " Google data analytics certificate " . I'm not sure how to get back into job market. Please suggest any courses or road map to entry level data analyst jobs?

I’ve done some soul searching of late and established I’d love to be offered a FTE role in my current company. I think this is partly due to never having had a full time job which I’ve enjoyed and which have valued my contributions. I think this is due to wanting to feel accepted. I know acceptance needs to start with me etc but I think redundancy and workplace gaslighting has meant I’ve never achieved growth and status in one company where I can truly grow. Anyone else has this?
