I work as a director at the moment. Requested a raise and was told no raise till September then asking one more time for the raise and was turned down. Have teachers with no experience and qualifications getting a raise. Bottom line I’m annoyed and frustrated. By the way owner is using my qualifications to cover two school locations but refuses to raise although I need it. Now I want to leave. Am I overreacting?

Hello amazing people. I currently work in CA as a HH RN and planning on relocating to MI in couple months.
I’m not sure about the most efficient way to proceed. Is it best to start as a travel HH RN? Do I apply directly with an agency that offers relocation benefits?….I have over 15 YOE, what’s the pay like in MI?

Got an offer at a boutique firm, they are offering mid-100k (3 YOE, but I’m retooling). Life / Career Advice: I applied to medical school since my MCAT score was set to expire, ended up getting into 1 program. I also have an opp to join a well funded/well established Healthtech Startup (6 figure salary w/ equity + benefits) as a BD professional. Question for folks with second homes: Considering buying a vacation home but would be primarily for family use. We currently have a primary residence with a mortgage balance of ~640K, so my understanding is I could only deduct the mortgage interest on 110K of the second mortgage to stay under the 750K cap. If I were to buy the second home through an LLC, would that allow me to exceed that 750K since the expenses of the second home would be pass through expenses/income?

I am only 4 months into being a surgical coordinator. I love the position itself however I am struggling to adapt into my new work environment.
