Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Did you hear back from your interviews?
Rejection is part of life. But no matter what happens, you need to keep moving forward.
Ask for feedback! Network like crazy and get in via a referral. Makes a big difference.
Already did the whole networking like crazy and no one offered a referral
I was rejected left and right out of college. Worked in industry for a year and then it was exponentially easier. Don’t be discouraged.
I’m waiting to hear back from two different firms after final interviews last week. Until I hear either way, I’m continuing my search, applying and circling back with my network.
If I fixate on getting an email or call, I’ll get anxious over nothing I have control over. I did everything I needed during the process and those interviews. If I’m not chosen, so be it. You have to keep going either way.
I get it. My undergrad degree isn’t stellar either, but it didn’t stop me from getting into great industry roles. The more experience you get, the more your school won’t matter as much, especially if you add relevant certs or decide to get a Masters. Having industry experience will set you ahead of the game if you decide to try for consulting later, if you choose to go this way. Delays aren’t denials.
Still, see how this week goes before losing all hope.
