Did your firm notify attorneys or clients of the outlook outage? Mine didn’t send anything to anyone. I only found out from a fellow associate who had a client call them because they hadn’t received a draft. I went onto my client-issued laptop to let in-house counsel know of the outage because they had no idea either (even though they also use Outlook)

Completely and totally miserable at my firm and just need a space to vent because my friends are tired of hearing about it. I wish the worst part about it was the amount of work, rather than the completely toxic culture, lack of appreciation, arbitrary and back/breaking deadlines, lack of mentorship/feedback/training, and the fact that the associates act like they don’t even know each other. I’m a junior in big law and in the short time I’ve been here, I’ve noticed that counsels produce perfect drafts and yet aren’t partners but partners can’t write two sentences without numerous typos. Shouldn’t counsels be partners and partners counsels instead?
